Bio

I create ready-to-wear jewellery but most of my time is spent designing wearable bespoke jewellery on commission for clients, telling their emotional story in gold or silver. I love colour so I work with gemstones but my speciality is working with traditional enamel to add colour. Ground glass is fired at very high temperatures in technically challenging cloisonne, plique-a-jour or champleve designs. Living in Gozo I also often incorporate traditional handmade Maltese filigree in modern designs.
I make every effort when sourcing materials to be sustainable and I love the challenge of redesigning unwanted jewellery.
My jewellery journey began in France. Then I studied traditional jewellery making with the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths\\\' in London. Next I moved to Scotland where I graduated in Jewellery and Metal Design from the University of Dundee.
I have won several international jewellery awards including the Goldsmiths\\\' Centre Award for Excellence in Craftsmanship and A Goldsmiths Craft & Design Council Award (considered an Oscar of the jewellery world).
