Biography - Lara Parker is a multidisciplinary designer, artist, and artisan whose work spans a rich tapestry of visual and handmade arts. With expertise in graphic design, painting, crochet, resin art, ceramics, weaving, macrame, and bobbin lace making, her creations embody a seamless blend of tradition and modernity. Inspired by nature, global cultures, and Maltese heritage, Lara infuses storytelling and vivid imagination into her pieces. A graduate of the University of Kent at Canterbury, she holds a Master of Arts degree, Postgraduate Diploma, and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Visual Communication. Lara’s contributions to the Maltese art scene include participation in esteemed events such as The Fine Arts Auction, Caritas Malta Collective Exhibitions, designMT Exhibition 2025, and art pieces displayed at Gallery 23, and Christine X Art Gallery. Her entrepreneurial achievements earned her a nomination for \'Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2021.\' Founding two successful advertising agencies, achieving multiple awards in advertising, Lara continues to explore the intersection of artisan traditions and contemporary artistry.
