Bio

I am a sculptural ceramicist, currently based in Xaghra, and exhibiting both here and in the UK.
My work is hugely influenced by the natural beauty of Gozo’s countryside and in particular its rugged coastline. A lot of my pieces are created using texture found in nature and I also like to fuse traditional local methods of crafting - such as reclaimed old Gozitan crochet work - to add embellishments to the surface of my vessels creating a contemporary piece. I am happy to be involved with the Malta Craft Foundation attending their events and being proactive in representing Malta in various arts presentations.
