Edward is a self-taught artist who works in a variety of mediums that are not very common in Malta, including glass engraving, paper cutting, and scroll/fretsaw work. His intricate and meticulously planned works are executed in both large and miniature scales. Most of his work is done voluntarily and without regard to profit, the primary goals being solely to promote Maltese identity and culture and to produce something distinctive and aesthetically beautiful.
