Jorge Spiteri is a passionate beekeeper who does not depend on just honey production from his beehives spread out around Malta. He considers beekeeping as fulfilling and tries to take little of all the products that the honeybee manages to produce. The beekeeping practice is diversified on purpose so that different crafted products can be found all year round and the consumer would have better access to healthy products. This makes the beekeeping practice sustainable for the honeybees and the beekeeper himself. The products include: honey, beeswax cosmetics, pollen, royal jelly, propolis, and mead. Jorge is keeping alive a tradition of a veteran beekeeper who passionately passed over the tricks of the trade to him.
